Alves de Sousa
Alves de Sousa Abandonado Red 2020, 75cl
Deep ruby colour. Great complexity and aromatic freshness, with unusual balsamic and tar notes, licorice and black fruits, typical of the Abandonado vineyard. Mouth full of harmony, with intensity but also delicacy, minerality and an extraordinary purity of fruit. You can feel the schist soil, the surrounding forest, the freshness of the altitude, in a pure expression of the nature of the vineyard. An exercise in pure elegance and class from one of the most iconic vineyards in the Douro and Portugal.
